ZIONSVILLE FARMERS’ MARKET 2023 SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
April/May 2023
Be sure to mark your calendars and join us for the 26th annual Zionsville Farmers’ Market on Saturday, May 20 from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m.! ZFM’s location on Zionsville’s historic Main Street between Pine and Hawthorne continues to be a success for its vendors and a wildly popular space for families, friends and neighbors to gather on Saturday mornings.
This season will boast a total of 42 ZFM local produce and food vendors as well as an array of fun and exciting events and activities for all ages!

This Season’s Special Events
The ZFM President Danielle Pezet shared some of the exciting events and activities that the volunteer board has organized for the upcoming market season.
“We will host monthly special events — which will include a giveaway and kids’ craft — and a variety of weekly activities at our dedicated event booth space,” Pezet stated. “We are proud to announce we were the recipient of a Boone County Waste Grant! This grant will allow us, in partnership with the Town of Zionsville, to install a water fountain and bottle filling station on Main Street. In celebration of this new water fountain, we plan to give away ZFM-branded water bottles on Green Day!”
Pezet added, “Check out our market booth for new Zionsville Farmers’ Market swag! Including new ‘punny’ shirts, like the community favorite, ‘GIVE PEAS A CHANCE’ and new this year ‘EVERYDAY I’M BRUSSELIN’.’ We will also be offering ZFM-branded reusable tote bags, bags and water bottles. We will continue our commitment to being environmentally friendly with our ‘Bring your Bag to Market’ giveaway … come by the market booth each weekend to get your raffle ticket to win a beautiful fresh flower bouquet for bringing your reusable bag.”
As per market tradition, ZFM Mascot “Cornelius,” a lovable little corn stuffy, will be hidden somewhere in the market each weekend for kiddos to seek and find. Sticker prizes for locating Cornelius will be given out at the market booth.
Be sure to follow ZFM’s social media channels and visit its website for more information on the following event dates:
Green Day (Date TBD) – Come celebrate our new water fountain at the market with water-themed activities and crafts as well as a water bottle giveaway.
Grilled Corn Day (July 29th) – Come to the market to get free, freshly grilled sweet corn. Head over to the Palette Art patio to do corn-themed crafts!
Farm Day (August 12th) – Come help us celebrate National Farmers Market week with farm-themed activities and crafts!
Pumpkin Palooza (September 16th) – Fall is in the air! Come paint a pumpkin and celebrate all things fall!
And yes, ZFM is not only a place for Zionsville residents to gather … it remains welcoming to well-behaved four-legged members of the community as well.

Volunteers Needed!
Three volunteers are needed for each of the market’s two shifts every market day. Sign up on the ZFM website and invite a friend/neighbor/kiddo (great volunteer credit!)! Saturdays 7 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. or 9:30 a.m. – Noon.
Be sure to come out and support a longstanding Zionsville tradition and visit the Zionsville Farmers’ Market on Saturdays, May 20 – Sept 30 at 8–11:30 a.m. Please note, there will be no market on September 9 due to the Fall Festival Parade.
