Music City Meets Zionsville: The All-Nashville Roadshow Hits Wild Air Farms!

by Janelle Morrison

Zionsville’s hidden gem is hosting a huge night of live music, Nashville eats, and local brews. Set against the rolling pastures, ponds, and mature trees of Wild Air Farms, the All-Nashville Roadshow brings the Music City experience right to the heart of Boone County.

The 250-acre property, located in the heart of Zionsville at 7550 Hunt Club Road, will host the All-Nashville Roadshow on Friday, Oct. 9, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Opening the Property to the Community

The event marks a shift in how the historic farm interacts with the surrounding community. While the property has hosted private horse shows for the past five seasons, leaders are moving toward broader public accessibility for community events.

“It’s extremely exciting to have the opportunity to have a venue such as Wild Air and H&H Stables being headquartered there, right in the middle of Zionsville and next door to Whitestown,” said Chad Hughes, president of H&H Stables LLC and co-manager of events at Wild Air Farms. “It’s just a hidden gem that for many years has not been exposed to the public. But we’re going to change that with the introduction of the All-Nashville Roadshow that’s kicking off our last horse show of the season.”

Honoring Elizabeth Johnson’s Legacy

Hughes emphasized that the move aligns with the vision of the property’s late owner, Elizabeth Johnson, who wanted the sprawling acreage to serve as an asset for local communities.

“We’re very pleased to be the stewards of Wild Air Farms,” Hughes said. “We’re extremely excited to be able to offer such a venue to the public. Liz wanted everybody that came out to the farm to experience its splendor, rolling hills, the paddocks, and everything. The scenery all around it lends itself to be a venue for many different types of community events.

Expanding Beyond Equestrian Events

Historically, the property has hosted community gatherings such as the once nationally renowned Traders Point Hunt Charity Horse Show, the Wild Air Farms Fireworks Show, weddings, and symphony performances. Hughes noted that the goal moving forward is to expand general public access beyond traditional equestrian programming.

“The picturesque setting has not only the equestrian side with the horses, but has the natural beauty and all the wildlife that calls Wild Air Farms their home,” Hughes said. “The property has been really underutilized and underexposed to the public. We want to make it so that it’s enjoyed by the community on a much larger basis than what it is currently.”

Live Music, Comedy, and Southern Eats

The Oct. 9 event features a slate of Nashville-based musical acts, including Americana artist Charlie Argo, genre-fusing powerhouse Slaw, and CMT-featured singer-songwriter Summerlyn Powers. Tennessee comedian Matt Harris will serve as the host for the evening.

Attendees will also have access to Nashville-inspired comfort food alongside adult beverages from local vendors.

“We’re excited about moving forward and what the future holds for the farm and for the community to come out and enjoy what Wild Air is all about,” Hughes said.

Tickets for the event can be purchased online at allnashvilleroadshow.com/zionsville. No outside food or beverages will be permitted. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the property. Adult beverages will be available for purchase for patrons 21 and older.
