Jacquie Bols Jacquie Bols

Bols is the owner of Jacquie’s Gourmet Catering that offers catering in the surrounding area including Carmel and Zionsville. It was recently announced that her catering company has been selected as an Indianapolis catering vendor of choice for two new venues: Hotel Tango Artisan Distillery and Daniel’s Vineyard. Bols and her staff received the Weddingwire’s Couples’ Choice award in 2016. Bols also owns and operates Jacquie’s Café, located in west Carmel.

Susan McIlwain

McIlwain, a resident of Zionsville, was named Joint Master of Foxhounds at Traders Point Hunt this past season. She serves along with Sr. Master of Foxhounds, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson. McIlwain has been nationally recognized by the Masters of Foxhounds Association and was approved by the governing committee for membership with the MFHA in June of 2016. McIlwain has been a member of TPH for 20 years. The TPH does not hunt a live fox, rather they chase a “drag” or scented object that is pulled along the ground.

Zionsville High School Girls Basketball Team

The Eagles claimed their first ever Hoosier Crossroads Conference (HCC) Girls Basketball Championship  with a victory over Brownsburg 57-41 last month. The Eagles finished their regular season 22-1 and were undefeated in the conference. At the regional semis, the Eagles fell to the Class 4A No. 2 rated Homestead, who won a 52-38 victory over No. 3 Eagles. They ended their terrific season with a school record for wins at 25-2.

Virginia Hilbert

Hilbert is the new Marketing Director for the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public library. Previously, she  was the Circulation Services Department Head. A graduate from Purdue University with a B.A. in communications and journalism, Hilbert is excited about the opportunity to expand the marketing efforts and awareness of the library’s growing membership benefits menu and advocacy for community related programs.
