The Home Tour began in 1988 as a charity to benefit the Cross Roads-Easter Seals organization. In 2009, Midtown Indianapolis began operating the holiday home. This will be the seventh year that its benefitted the efforts of the Midtown Indianapolis, Inc. to improve the lives of the people living in the Midtown area. Proceeds from the tour will support the efforts of Midtown Indianapolis Inc., which is a nonprofit organization focused on quality of life and economic development in Meridian-Kessler, Butler-Tarkington, Broad Ripple Village, North Meridian Street, Mapleton-Fall Creek and neighboring areas.
This year’s tour will offer five homes that have been decorated by some of the finest designers in the city. In addition to offering the highest quality design ideas, the tour this year also strove to have a diverse collection of homes that reflect the uniqueness of Midtown area. As you can see from the photos, the tour ranges from homes that are the very traditional seen in the Meridian Street and Butler-Tarkington area to one apartment in a multi- level building. Each one will be decorated to reflect the uniqueness of the home and the Midtown area.
The Midtown Holiday Home Tour will on the weekend of November 12-13. For more info go to midtownindy.org/holiday-home-tour.
